Jackson Walker L.L.P. successfully represented its client, U.S. Home Systems, Inc., in its merger with an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of The Home Depot in a deal valued at approximately $93 million, which was approved by stockholders of U.S. Home Systems on Oct. 26, 2012.

Based in Irving, Texas, U.S. Home Systems, Inc. is currently the exclusive provider of kitchen and bath refacing products and services as well as closet and garage organizational systems to The Home Depot.

Under the agreement, The Home Depot acquired U.S. Home Systems for $12.50 per share in cash, a 38 percent premium over U.S. Home Systems’ closing stock price on Aug. 6, 2012, the day before the deal was announced.
