Jackson Walker successfully represented Prophet Equity LP, a $300 million Texas-based private equity firm, in the acquisition of Hatch Stamping Company and its affiliated entities in a series of five acquisition transactions and two lending transactions. The deals were all closed on December 20, 2012.
Based in Chelsea, Michigan, Hatch Stamping Company is recognized as a world class leader in the design and manufacturing of metal stampings and assemblies, and specializes in design, prototype construction, progressive die construction, stampings and assemblies.
Representing Prophet Equity was a Jackson Walker team led by Kevin Jones and including David Stolle, Jerry Webberman, Jim Griffin, Nate Smithson, Pete Wahl, Pete Hyndman, Kelly Hodge, Peter Bean, Anna Trimble and Carlos Treviño. The successful deal demonstrates Jackson Walker’s expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions, which includes representing private equity firms and publicly and privately held companies in a wide range of transactions.
