Jackson Walker represented Exelon Corporation in its successful acquisition of the Wolf Hollow power plant near Granbury, Texas.

The purchase builds on the company’s plan to invest nearly $5 billion in clean energy projects over six years. Purchasing the combined-cycle natural gas-fired plant adds 720 megawatts of clean energy to Exelon’s portfolio in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market and demonstrates Exelon’s continued commitment to clean energy in competitive markets.

Adjusted for working capital, the purchase price for Wolf Hollow was $305 million.

Working on the transaction were Jackson Walker attorneys Alex Frutos, Linda Donohoe, Leonard Dougal, John Schwartzenburg, Peter Wahl, Colter Harris, Craig Davis, and John Holden.
