Jackson Walker L.L.P. is pleased to celebrate the success of its client Alamo Federal Credit Union, which has made some recent changes to better serve its members.

Alamo FCU has been a San Antonio institution since 1930, when it was founded by 12 postal employees. It has since grown into one of the top 15 credit unions in San Antonio. Last year, Alamo FCU sought Jackson Walker’s assistance in restructuring its management team. Over the past 10 months, Jackson Walker attorneys Marc Whyte, Richard Moore, and Rick Garza have helped Alamo FCU transition to a new leadership team and successfully negotiated a lease for its new City Base West Branch, which opened in June.

“Marc Whyte and the assembled Jackson Walker team provided practical advice to our management team and governance organization to reduce our legal risk and optimize our business decisions,” said Alamo Federal Credit Union President and Chief Executive Officer Max Villaronga. “I personally gained a lot in consulting with Marc to design legal plans of action that were consistent with our organizational goals.”

Jackson Walker is honored to have had the opportunity to help Alamo FCU achieve its goals. With a new management team in place, the credit union is poised to continue providing superior financial services to the San Antonio community for many years to come.
