Andrews Kurth LLP is pleased to announce that Drew Baldinger is returning to the firm as a Business Transactions Partner in Houston.

Mr. Baldinger was most recently vice president, commercial and legal, for South Louisiana Methanol, headquartered in Austin, Texas. In that position, he oversaw all legal issues and was a member of senior management for an approximately $2 billion greenfield gas-to-methanol development.

Mr. Baldinger has more than nine years of legal experience representing developers, financial institutions, oil and gas companies, electric utilities, contractors, private equity and other investors in the development, operation, acquisition and project financing of domestic and international energy projects and companies.

Mr. Baldinger earned his law degree, with honors, in 2005 from The University of Texas School of Law and his bachelor’s degree, with honors, in 2002 from The University of Texas.
