Vinson & Elkins announced today that seasoned capital markets attorney Michael Telle has joined the firm in Houston as a corporate partner, further expanding its market-leading position.

Mike was a partner at Bracewell & Guiliani LLP, where he was head of the firm’s Capital Markets group. He has an extensive corporate and securities law practice emphasizing capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance and corporate governance matters.

Mike has particular experience advising clients in the energy industry, including exploration and production companies, midstream companies, including master limited partnerships (MLPs), and oilfield service companies. He regularly counsels clients in initial public offerings, public and 144A offerings of debt and equity securities, tender offers and exchange offers. He also advises clients on M&A transactions and private acquisitions and dispositions.
