The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that Wade A. Johnson has joined the Firm’s Trial Department as an Associate in the Houston office.

In a relatively short time, Wade has developed significant experience representing many different types of clients in litigation matters in state and federal courts. He will be a substantial asset to our Firm and our clients,” says Joseph S. Pevsner, the Firm’s Trial Department Leader.

Mr. Johnson focuses his practice on complex business and intellectual property litigation. His experience includes representing clients in patent, trade secret, oil and gas, regulatory, securities, antitrust, class action defense, and employment discrimination disputes. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and American Bar Association, and he is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He received a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 2008 and a B.S. in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University in 1996.

Prior to joining Thompson & Knight, Mr. Johnson was an Associate at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP in Houston. He previously served as a Post-Writ Convictions Intern for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and Summer Intern for Justice Harriet O’Neill at the Supreme Court of Texas.
