The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the addition of John Pinkerton as Counsel and Craig Carpenter as an Attorney in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group in Dallas.

“We are honored to have these lawyers join our team. John’s more than 30 years of distinguished experience serving as lead counsel in numerous patent infringement cases is a tremendous asset to Thompson & Knight and our clients. Craig is a bright lawyer with excellent academic achievements, and is a worthy addition to our growing practice. We are excited that they have joined us and look forward to working with them,” says Jane Politz Brandt, Co-Chair of the Firm’s IP Practice Group.

Pinkerton’s primary areas of expertise are patent litigation, patent and technology license agreements, and “designing around” patents to avoid infringement.
