The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Timothy J. Cournoyer as an Associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group of the Firm’s Dallas office.

Cournoyer focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters with an emphasis on the representation of publicly traded and privately held companies in a variety of merger and acquisition transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, tender offers, and leveraged buy-out transactions.
He received a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2010 and a B.A. in Economics from Emory University in 2007. Cournoyer is admitted to practice in New York, and his admission to the State Bar of Texas is pending.
