Jeffrey J. Zissa has joined the Dallas office of national law firm Polsinelli as a shareholder in its thriving Real Estate Finance practice. With a broad range of experience over almost three decades, Zissa has advised on all aspects of complex commercial real estate and mortgage transactions on a national scale, involving virtually every product line.

With an emphasis on real estate finance, Zissa’s background involves a variety of commercial real estate transactions nationwide. He represents lenders with an array of commercial real estate financing transactions involving diverse assets and has focused on the origination of senior mortgage loans intended for securitization and mezzanine financing. Additionally, Zissa has experience closing transactions for lenders’ construction lending programs and EB-5 lending programs. On top of real estate finance, Zissa’s commercial real estate background involves representation of developers, servicers and investors in buying, managing, operating and selling commercial and retail real estate projects.

Zissa earned both his J.D. and his B.B.A., with high honors, from The University of Texas at Austin. He is board certified in Commercial Real Estate Law and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

In addition to Zissa, Joseph F. Esposito recently joined Polsinelli’s Dallas office as an associate in the Corporate and Transactional practice, bringing the total number of attorneys in the Dallas office to 54. Esposito has experience representing clients on general corporate and transactional matters, ranging from formation, operation and governance issues to joint venture relationships and private investment vehicles.

He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, and previously completed his B.S. at the University of New Orleans.
