Houston continues to expand and solidify its position as one of the world’s top legal centers.  November saw several major job changes to reinforce this.  Here are some of the highlights:

Mark Matthews joined Baker Donelson as a partner.  The attorney brings years of experience in energy transactions.  He is a graduate of the South Texas College of Law and joins from Haynes & Boone.

Ahmad Zavitsanos announced the hiring of attorneys Megan Bibb and Kyril Talanov.  Bibb is a commercial litigator who focuses on the energy industry.   She graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.  Talanov joins the intellectual property group and will focus on patent litigation.  He is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center and hold a B.S. in chemical engineering from Texas Tech.
