Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C., a law firm with over 100 attorneys and offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, Texas, announces that Shareholder Joe Michels has joined the Houston office. He will work in the Health Care group.
Joe Michels
Joe has two decades of experience in commercial litigation and has represented clients across the nation in a wide variety of disputes. His practice focuses on developing a “quick strike” litigation strategy that positions cases to provide opportunities for prompt and effective business resolutions.
With an emphasis in health care related litigation, Joe has represented hospitals and other medical entities in matters including physician/nurse credentialing, third-party contract disputes, antitrust and partnership disputes. He has positioned cases for, and obtained, summary judgments in multiple jurisdictions. Joe also has experience in peer review matters, whether representing physicians, hospitals or serving as a hearing examiner in peer review proceedings.
He received his Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude, from University of Houston Law Center and Bachelor of Science, also graduating magna cum laude, from Houston Baptist University.
