The Dallas-based technology law firm Munck Carter, LLP, is strengthening its commercial litigation practice group with the addition of experienced litigator Joshua J. Bennett.

Mr. Bennett’s experience includes representing a wide variety of companies in complex commercial and intellectual property disputes. Mr. Bennett has handled litigation at both the trial court and appellate level, and has obtained judgments for clients in both federal and state courts.

Prior to joining Munck Carter, Mr. Bennett had the privilege of serving as a law clerk for one of the most respected federal district court judges in the country: the Honorable Sim Lake of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. While helping Judge Lake, he gained experience in a wide range of procedure and law, and obtained a greater understanding of the judicial decision-making process. Mr. Bennett previously worked at a large, nationally respected commercial litigation firm.

“Josh has represented companies from many industries in a variety of litigation disputes, and that experience will complement Munck Carter well,” says Jamil Alibhai, Chairman of Munck Carter’s Litigation Section.

Mr. Bennett is a graduate of the University of Utah College of Law, and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Utah.

“Joshua Bennett is a welcome addition to our practice group,” adds Leon Carter, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Section. “His experience and enthusiasm will be a great asset for our clients.”
