The Dallas office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Jonetta L. Brooks as a partner in the firm’s real estate investment, development, and finance practice. She joins K&L Gates from Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP.
With experience in many aspects of real estate law, Brooks represents special servicers, pension fund advisors, REITs, developers, and bankruptcy trustees in connection with their acquisition, management, and disposition of real property. She has a particular focus in the area of commercial leasing transactions in Texas and across the United States, negotiating numerous leases for landlords and tenants in all property types, including shopping centers, office, industrial, and build-to-suit properties.

In May, K&L Gates also announced the additions of David Guedry, Steven Schortgen, and Erin Turley to the firm’s Dallas office as partners in the outsourcing, intellectual property litigation, and employee benefits practices, respectively.
