Dallas-based law firm Kane Russell Coleman & Logan PC (KRCL) has deepened its bench with the addition of J. Edward Johnson and Patrick H. Rose, IV.

Edward Johnson joins the firm’s Litigation and Personal Injury Defense groups as an associate. He represents businesses and individuals in high risk, catastrophic loss actions. He also handles cases involving the defense of claims for premises liability, breach of contract, negligence, gross negligence, and violations of consumer protection statutes. During his time studying law at Florida Coastal School of Law, Edward was the recipient of the Sports Law Certificate and Governor’s Scholarship. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University, where he was a member of several conference champion football teams.

Patrick H. Rose, IV brings his in-depth transactional experience to the firm’s Business & Corporate and Real Estate groups. His practice focuses on representing corporate, healthcare, real estate, and energy clients in all stages of business, including corporate formations, purchase and sale transactions, leasing and lending law matters, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and outside general counsel. While pursuing his Juris Doctor at Texas Wesleyan School of Law, Patrick was on the Texas Wesleyan Law Review and helped found the Texas Wesleyan Law Review Oil & Gas Survey. He also served as a legal intern to the Honorable Justice Bob McCoy in the Second Court of Appeals of Texas and interned in the legal department at XTO Energy, Inc., a subsidiary of ExxonMobil. Patrick graduated from Howard Payne University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, where he was a starter on the football team.
