Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, announces the addition of Jerry Redmond Jr. to the Firm’s Houston office.
Mr. Redmond, who joins as shareholder and a member of Baker Donelson’s Labor & Employment Department, concentrates his practice in labor and employment, immigration, federal and state regulatory matters and general civil litigation defense. His extensive experience includes representing management in traditional labor matters; the defense of federal and state employment law litigation and state law employment related matters; counseling businesses on numerous employment matters including drafting and auditing handbooks, employment policies, contracts, executive compensation and/or separation agreements; and representing, assisting and counseling businesses and individuals in immigration matters.
Mr. Redmond has received numerous recognitions, including being featured in Newsweek Magazine’s 2012 “20 Nationwide Leaders in Employment Law” Showcase. In 2011 he was recognized as a Houston Top Lawyer in Labor, Employment and Immigration law by H-Texas Magazine and was named to Best Lawyers in America® and to Texas Best Lawyers by ALM. In 2005, 2006 and 2012 he was recognized as a “Texas Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine.
A 1998 graduate of the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, Mr. Redmond is licensed to practice in Alabama and Texas and a member of the Texas State and Houston Bar Associations, the Houston Lawyers Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
