Jackson Walker is pleased to welcome new attorney Jeffrey S. Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton joins the Wealth Planning group in the Dallas Office.

Mr. Hamilton counsels clients on matters involving wealth planning and preservation, including trusts, estates, wills, income tax relating to trusts and estates, estate, gift and generation-skipping tax, and charitable organizations. This includes developing and implementing innovative estate planning techniques to transfer wealth from an older generation to a younger generation. These techniques often involve the creation of new entities or changes in existing entities, as well as careful consideration of federal and state income, estate and gift tax laws. Mr. Hamilton’s practice also includes advising fiduciaries and beneficiaries in the administration of trusts and estates. Mr. Hamilton received his B.A. degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. He received his J.D. degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he was a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal. He received his LL.M. in Taxation from Southern Methodist University.
