Jackson Walker is pleased to welcome new senior counsel Cline White. Mr. White joins the Intellectual Property group in the Houston Office.

Mr. White is a registered patent attorney, admitted to practice in the state of Texas and before the U.S. Patent Trademark Office. Mr. White focuses his practice on intellectual property law, particularly drafting and prosecution of patents in multiple arts, including biological and life sciences, medical, mechanical, software, and business methods in both domestic and PCT applications. He has many years of experience in trademark procurement and enforcement; negotiating and drafting intellectual property licensing agreements from both the licensor and licensee perspectives; copyright registration procurement and enforcement; entertainment issues; and Internet issues. He also handles Internet/e-commerce and entertainment issues.

Mr. White also has extensive experience in litigation, focusing now on intellectual property disputes, but previously in the areas of insurance bad-faith, DTPA, wrongful death, personal injury, product liability, workers’ compensation, anti-trust, contract, property damage, family, criminal, and condemnation.

Mr. White received his B.S. from the University of California, his M.S. from the University of Texas, and his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law.
