Holland & Knight is continuing the growth of its Dallas office with the addition of litigation Partners Mary Goodrich Nix and Jon G. Shepherd. They join the firm from Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr and Alston & Bird respectively.

Ms. Nix counsels clients in the area of labor and employment law and has specific industry experience representing franchises, such as hotel, food service, real estate and hospitality companies. She has extensive courtroom experience and has litigated and arbitrated numerous cases throughout Texas and other parts of the country.

Mr. Shepherd focuses on antitrust and financial services litigation. In addition to numerous antitrust matters, he also has represented companies involved in class actions throughout the country, including securities litigation and deceptive and unfair trade practices claims. After law school, Mr. Shepherd served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Emilio M. Garza of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
