Wick Phillips, a full-service business law firm with offices in Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin, Texas, announces the addition of Greg Young as a partner in the Austin office, who will also manage the firm’s Central Texas operations. With more than 14 years of experience, Young has handled a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters for clients, including mergers and acquisitions, loan transactions on both the borrower and the lender side, formation and governance of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, as well as venture capital and other private equity transactions.

Prior to joining Wick Phillips, Young was a partner at the law firms of Okin Adams & Kilmer LLP and Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. Throughout his career, Young has handled loan transactions and restructurings, foreclosures, mergers and acquisitions, private placements and other securities transactions and has worked with clients in the finance industry on hedge funds and private equity funds. Young also has experience handling commercial real estate and leasing matters and advising clients with regard to regulatory issues and licensing in connection with pawnshops and car title loans.

Specializing in the representation of technology, energy, services and other industries, Young regularly counsels companies and investors with regard to matters such as entity structure, raising capital through equity and loan transactions, corporate governance, and general business and contract matters. Young has closed numerous domestic and international transactions, for clients in a wide variety of industries.

Young earned his B.A. with highest honors from the University of Texas and his J.D. summa cum laude from Harvard University Law School. Young is licensed to practice in Texas.
