The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced that Joseph P. Griffith and Katherine L. Elsbernd have joined its Dallas office as associates in the Litigation Practice.

Griffith focuses his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage, mass tort and class actions, and products liability. He also regularly counsels clients on strategies to avoid litigation. His trial practice is a national one, which extends to both federal and state courts across the country. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Griffith was an associate at Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP in Dallas. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law and his B.A. in Government and Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin.

Elsbernd has experience handling a wide array of litigation matters in both state and federal courts, specifically including insurance coverage disputes and professional liability defense. She was formerly an associate at Strasburger & Price in Dallas. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law and her B.B.A. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University.
