“Greenberg Traurig is strengthening key practices as part of its overall strategy to expand our presence in Texas,” said Joseph F. Coniglio, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Dallas office. “Tom’s business acumen and multifaceted experience enhance our transactional capabilities as well as complement many of our practice areas in Texas and beyond.”

Woolsey focuses his practice on his clients’ most complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, minority and control investments, joint ventures and fund formations. He advises clients in transactions that involve a broad range of industries, including manufacturing and construction, energy, software and technology, real estate, and food and beverage. His clients include private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies, operating companies, and management teams. Notably, Woolsey is known by his clients for his responsiveness and practical approach.

“Greenberg Traurig is a top-tier law firm with a culture of success and unmatched commitment to delivering quality service to clients,” Woolsey said. “I intend to add to that foundation of success and contribute to the next phase of Greenberg Traurig’s growth.”

Woolsey received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2011, and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004. He has earned recognition on the 2018-19 list of Texas Rising Stars by Super Lawyers magazine, a Thomson Reuters guide of leading lawyers.
