Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues its strategic growth in Texas with the addition of Tanya Goins in its Dallas office Corporate Practice as of counsel. Greenberg Traurig has more than 125 attorneys in Texas and continues to grow in the state; serving clients from offices in Austin and Houston, in addition to Dallas. Previously, Goins was with Holland and Knight.

“Tanya continues the expansion of our investment management capabilities with regard to registered funds,” Atlanta-based Shareholder, Terry Davis stated. “She is a leading practitioner in the Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) space, and as the EFT industry continues rapid expansion, Tanya will allow the firm to build upon current success of attracting ETF clients.”

Goins advises investment companies including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), interval funds, closed-end funds, and other financial services industry clients on the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Act of 1934 and FINRA regulations. Goins also counsels investment company board of directors, private funds, and investment advisers on structuring formation and continued operations both of domestic and offshore private investment vehicles.
