Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the world’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, has added Jarrett R. Andrews as a shareholder in its Dallas office. Andrews previously served as managing counsel for Energy Future Holdings Corp. (EFH), whose holdings include Texas’ largest power generation company and Texas’ largest mining company. While at EFH, Andrews was responsible for the full range of labor and employment matters.

Andrews focuses his practice on litigating labor and employment claims, including the National Labor Relations Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act, as well as the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. He has represented clients in state and federal courts, before the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and in arbitrations under the Federal Arbitration Act and collective bargaining agreements.

Experienced in handling a wide spectrum of workplace issues, Andrews has expertise in the areas of employee benefits, compliance and reductions-in-force. He also advises on labor relations strategies, collective bargaining agreement negotiations and regularly conducts management and employee training.

Andrews is an active member of a number of professional and community organizations, including the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. He is also a Veterans Assistance committee member of the Dallas Bar Association and sat on the Board of Directors for Reading is Fundamental. He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Labor & Employment Law.

Andrews received his J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law (2001) and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University (1998).
