FordHarrison LLP is pleased to announce that Jennifer Jones has joined the firm as a Senior Associate and Brian Landa as an Employment Attorney, both in the Dallas office. This follows a recent expansion that brought Partners Adam Dougherty, Fred Gaona, and Lawrence McNamara to the Dallas office at the end of 2013.

“We are so excited to have Jennifer and Brian join as a part of the growth and development of our office,” said Vista Lyons, the Office Managing Partner of FordHarrison’s Dallas office. “Jennifer has vast traditional labor experience and Brian possesses a great deal of knowledge regarding employment law. They both have the utmost commitment to excellent client service and we feel lucky to have them as part of the expansion to our footprint in Dallas, and nationwide.”

Jennifer’s practice focuses on providing advice and representation to employers regarding labor and employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, harassment, worker’s compensation, and wage and hour disputes. She represents clients in federal and state court and before administrative bodies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and has experience with counseling employers on a wide range of employment issues, including hiring, termination, employment discrimination, disability accommodation, wage and hour compliance, and drafting of employee handbooks and personnel policies.

Prior to coming to FordHarrison, Jennifer worked in the Dallas office of Hunton & Williams, LLP.

Brian Landa devotes his practice to representing management in employment-related disputes. He advises employers on a broad range of issues including claims of unlawful discharge, retaliation, sexual harassment, Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower actions, and related laws and statutes in state and federal courts and before various state and federal agencies.

Prior to starting with FordHarrison, Brian ran his own firm, Law Office of Brian Landa, in Dallas, TX.
