Bracewell LLP is pleased to welcome Annette L. Tripp as a partner in the Houston office. Tripp joins the firm from Thompson & Knight LLP.

“Annette has a stellar reputation with clients and her peers,” said Mark C. Evans, Bracewell managing partner. “Our lawyers have worked alongside of her for many years and we are glad to be able to add her to the firm.”

“We have a long history of serving financial institutions and Annette’s significant experience in bank regulatory matters will be a great addition,” said Robert L. Clarke, a senior member of Bracewell’s financial institution practice and a former U.S. Comptroller of the Currency.

“We are focused on continuing to grow our financial institutions practice in Texas and nationally,” said Gregory M. Bopp, head of Bracewell’s lateral recruiting committee and incoming managing partner. “Annette is a perfect fit for our clients and their needs.”

Tripp’s practice focuses on financial institutions. Her experience includes regulatory matters and mergers and acquisitions, public and private transactions for banks, thrifts and other financial institutions including non-traditional financial service companies.
