Jackson Walker is pleased to welcome appellate attorney Brett D. Kutnick as a partner in the Dallas office. Brett brings to our Chambers-ranked Trial & Appellate Litigation practice over 20 years of experience as a litigator and the managing partner of an appellate boutique law firm.

Board certified in Civil Appellate Law, Brett has served as lead appellate attorney in courts throughout the state, including the Texas Supreme Court and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a skilled advocate before clients, trial judges, and appellate justices.
His sophisticated litigation experience, which consists of commercial cases and business appeals, encompasses oil and gas issues, contract disputes, business torts, professional malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty claims, shareholder oppression, and intellectual property rights. With a trained eye on legal strategy and project management, Brett assists clients across various industries, including national retail stores, manufacturers, real estate developers, and oil and gas producers.
