Baker Hostetler announced today that Lynn Sessions has joined the firm as Counsel in its Houston, TX office. She will be a member of the Firm’s Business Group and its Healthcare Industry team. Sessions most recently served as in-house counsel for Texas Children’s Hospital, one of the world’s largest pediatric integrated delivery systems located in the Texas Medical Center.

Sessions focuses her practice on providing legal services to healthcare industry clients, including hospitals, integrated delivery systems, physicians and physician group practices, nurses and academic medical centers. With more than 17 years experience representing healthcare providers, she brings an extensive background in healthcare operations, regulatory matters and healthcare litigation to Baker Hostetler. Sessions is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and in 2005 was named a “Texas Rising Star” by Law & Politics and the publisher of Texas Monthly. She is a frequent speaker on a range of topics affecting the health industry, including cyber and network security, regulatory issues and risk financing. Sessions received her bachelor of arts degree from Texas A&M and her J.D. from Baylor University Law School.
