Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP has added attorney K. Brian Joe as an associate. Brian joins the firm from the New York City office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.

Brian joins the firm’s Corporate and Securities; Mergers and Acquisitions; and Entertainment, Advertising and New Media practice areas. In addition to general corporate law, he advises clients on private equity investments; securities offerings; Securities and Exchange Commission disclosure requirements, reporting and compliance; and corporate governance.

Brian also assists clients  with intellectual property and technology-related transactions, including: intellectual property licensing, marketing and development; computer software and systems transactions; and technology transfers and distribution. Brain has also represented both customers and vendors in information technology and business process outsourcing arrangements.

Having worked with U.S.- and internationally-based businesses, Mr. Joe’s experience spans across a variety of industries, including the energy, finance, manufacturing and technology fields.

A graduate of the University of Houston Law Center (J.D., 2009) and Texas A&M University (B.A., 2002), Mr. Joe is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
