Attorney Elisa Fox has joined Decker, Jones, McMackin, McClane, Hall & Bates as an associate, Managing Shareholder Chuck Milliken announced.

“Elisa is a wonderful fit for our growing construction practice,” Milliken said. “Elisa has significant business transaction experience and we are pleased to have the opportunity to add an attorney with her skill set.”

Fox’s practice is primarily focused on providing businesses of all sizes full-service legal representation, including corporate matters, risk management, regulatory compliance, contract drafting and negotiation, and litigation support. She represents a variety of industry areas, including residential and commercial construction, real estate, banking and transportation clients. She also has extensive experience handling complex commercial real estate transactions and residential and commercial construction law matters.

Fox previously had been the name attorney in the E. C. Fox Law Firm and General Counsel with Cummings Electrical before joining her former firm, Cantey Hanger LLC.

Fox received her BBA in Real Estate/Finance from Baylor University and her juris doctor in 2008 from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association, Eldon B Mahon Inn of Court, and the Transportation Lawyers Association. She is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Women Fort Worth (CREW), Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council, Greater Fort Worth Builders’ Association and the Texas Construction Association.

Her community activities include the Fort Worth Library Foundation, and ACH – Child and Family Services, and she is a board member of CREW Charities and Ladder Alliance.
