The Dallas legal jobs market is on a continued growth pattern.  Here are some of the major attorney career moves that continued the trend in September.

Paul Downey and William Morton joined Kane Russell’s real estate practice.  They bring years of broad real estate experience to the group.

Partner Tracey Davies joined Gibson Dunn from V&E.  Her practice focuses on IP litigation, particularly in life sciences.  “Tracey will be a terrific addition to the firm,” said Rob Walters, Co-Partner in Charge of the Dallas office.  “A splendid trial lawyer and widely recognized in the life sciences arena, Tracey is an emerging star in Texas and nationally.”

Austin maintained its record several major career moves a month in September.  Here is a summary of some of the biggest legal recruiting news.

Sedgwick added a group of six attorneys with a variety of environmental, land use, and commercial litigation experience.    The group includes partners Alan Glen, Michael Klein, and Lisa Michaux Magids.

Partner Brian Flood and of counsel Wendy Keegan were recruited to Brown McCarroll’s health care team.  The lawyers bring years of experience in health care policy, operations, compliance, risk, and fraud.

Continuing its growth in Texas, Dykema Gossett hired Kimberly Kiplin for the firm’s Government Policy group.  Kiplin joins from her job as General Counsel of the Texas Lottery Commission.
