Jackson Walker L.L.P. successfully represented Texas homebuilder Darling Homes in its sale to Taylor Morrison, based in Scottsdale, Ariz. The deal closed on Dec. 31, 2012.
Frisco-based Darling Homes was founded by brothers Bill, Steve, and Bob Darling and is one of the top homebuilders in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston areas, having earned numerous industry awards over the years. Builder and developer Taylor Morrison operates in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, and Texas under the Taylor Morrison brand, and in Ontario, Canada, under the Monarch brand. Taylor Morrison has also accumulated many industry accolades, including more than 36 Best in American Living awards.
A Jackson Walker team including Aaron Allred, Ron Kerridge, Kevin Jones, Shakeeb Mir, and Clark Pulliam represented Darling Homes in the transaction.
