The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the addition of noted healthcare lawyer Susan B. Murphy as Counsel in the Healthcare Practice Group of the Firm’s Houston office.

Murphy focuses her practice on health industry operational and transactional issues, including joint ventures, group practices, and managed care organizations. She has extensive experience regarding compliance with federal and state laws, including referral relationships, illegal remuneration, and Stark and civil monetary penalties, as well as antitrust, licensure, and insurance requirements. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and Houston Bar Association. She joins Thompson & Knight from Porter Hedges LLP in Houston.
