Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is pleased to welcome Sujey Kallumadanda, Of Counsel, to its Houston office. Kallumadanda will focus his practice in the areas of energy law, financial services, and government, using his legal skills to further the firm’s international energy practice.

Kallumadanda brings nearly a decade of experience working with energy clients and government officials. Before joining Steptoe & Johnson, Kallumadanda worked with U.S. and Iraqi government officials at the highest levels dealing with laws, regulations and legislation, as well as policy shaping and policy-making initiatives. He also brings extensive experience successfully representing multi-national organizations to government officials on legal and policy matters in Washington, D.C. and Iraq. In addition to his legal accomplishments, Kallumadanda also spent time as a financial and securities advisor to a U.S Senator and an international renewable energy nonprofit organization.

Kallumadanda earned his Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University and his Master of Law from Georgetown University School of Law.
