Accomplished attorney Alisa Lipski brings a decade of patent practice and a science background to the burgeoning intellectual property practice at Houston-based commercial litigation boutique Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anaipakos, Alavi & Mensing P.C., or AZA.

Ms. Lipski is licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has handled numerous Markman hearings in District Courts around the country as well as several appellate arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She is licensed to practice law in both Texas and California, further expanding AZA’s team of IP trial lawyers in critically important venues for firm clients.

A name partner in a successful IP boutique firm before she joined AZA, Ms. Lipski has devoted her entire career to complex patent infringement litigation and appeals. Her litigation practice is diverse and impressive, including many notable successes litigating patents covering software, communications, satellite, oilfield, medical, and biochemical technology, among others. Her clients are diverse, ranging from individual inventors to corporations with extensive patent portfolios, with each of them benefitting from her strong educational background, which includes a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and a biochemistry degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

“Alisa is a great addition to our team of top-flight IP trial lawyers. Her experience, intelligence, and focus make her a terrific advocate for our clients, and more bad news for our opponents,” says Demetrios Anaipakos, an AZA name partner who handles intellectual property cases.

She previously practiced patent litigation at Goldstein & Lipski PLLC, formerly Goldstein, Faucett & Prebeg, LLP. Ms. Lipski is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Litigation Committee and the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association.
