International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP today announced that Aaron S. Turner has joined its Dallas office as an associate. Mr. Turner is a member of the firm’s distinguished Banking & Finance practice.

Mr. Turner earned his J.D., from the Georgetown University Law Center and his B.B.A., in finance, magna cum laude, from Texas Christian University. Prior to joining Weil, Mr. Turner represented both borrowers and financial institutions in multiple aspects of complex financing transactions.

Mr. Turner’s experience complements Weil’s prominent Banking & Finance practice, whose highly regarded Dallas attorneys have extensive experience in a broad spectrum of financing transactions and debt restructurings in the US and abroad, including investment grade lending, commercial paper facilities, letter of credit facilities, cash flow-based lending, asset-based lending, sports team financing, equity and subordinated debt bridge financing, mezzanine financing, and workouts and restructurings and regularly represent prominent private equity funds, corporations and lead arrangers in high-profile transactions.

Recent transactions led by the Dallas-based Banking & Finance practice include Fidelity National Financial, Inc.’s pending acquisition of the outstanding common stock of Lender Processing Services, Inc., Advent International’s acquisition of the coating and resins business of Cytec Inc., AXA Private Equity Partner’s bid for Allflex Inc., THL Partners’ pending acquisition of CTI Foods, Charterhouse’s pending acquisition of Armacell, and Univision Communications’ recent multi-billion dollar amend and extend transactions.
