Akin Gump advised U.S. Concrete, Inc. in the company’s 144A/Reg. S offering of $200 million aggregate principal amount of 8.500% senior secured notes due 2018 (the “New Notes”). The New Notes are senior secured obligations of the company and are guaranteed by the existing and future subsidiaries of the company. The company used a portion of the net proceeds from the offering to repay all of the outstanding borrowings under its revolving credit facility and to redeem all of its outstanding 9.50% Senior Secured Notes due 2015.
